-          Charges collect shipment and payment facilities by country of destination

-          General cargo rates

-          Special commodity rates

-          Class rates

-          Air Waybill functions and completion

-          Different between Airline Liability and Insurance

-          Written examination

 

Medium of Instruction

Conduct in Cantonese with using of English reading materials

 

Target Participants

-          HAFFA Members

-          Recently recruited personnel in the air forwarding agents.

-          Personnel who needs to calculate cargo tariff and issue air waybill

1.          Enrolment Procedure:

a)      Kindly complete the enrolment form and send in together with cheque payment made payable to ¡§HAFFA¡¨ (please write down your name and course code on the back of the cheque).

b)      Letter of Acceptance with course details will be sent out by EMAIL Only either within 3 working days after the enrolment deadline, or once the course is full before the enrollment deadline.  Please do not call the Secretariat before that day.

 

2.          Remark

a)      The date & time of receipt of the application by the HAFFA Secretariat will be taken as the official date & time of application.

b)      We wish to advise you that for the whole year, each Member is only entitled to register for: - 1 Seat in BT & 2 Seats in DG/ RDG Courses.  In view of limited seats available, Members are advised that HAFFA would only accept applications as per the criteria listed herewith below:

¡P         ONE application per course from each Member.

¡P         Preference will be given to Member who has not yet fulfilled our membership training requirement.

¡P         Applications will be treated on a FIRST-COME-FIRST-SERVED basis upon receipt of payment.

c)      Application is subject to HAFFA¡¦s approval.  HAFFA reserves the right to reject any application in any circumstances and for whatever reasons.  Submission of the enrollment form and cheque should NOT be construed as acceptance of admission.

d)      Cheques are subject to bank clearance and receipts will then be issued. 

e)      Fax, e-mail and phone registration are NOT acceptable. 

f)       HAFFA reserves the right to cancel any of the classes above if there is insufficient enrolment or unforeseen difficulties arising from mounting the class(es).

g)      HAFFA reserves the right to change the program contents, schedule or venue at any time and without prior notice if it so deems necessary.  Those who would be affected by cancellation will be entitled to a full refund or a position on the next available class.

 

3.          Cancellations/Refunds 

An administration fee of HK$300. will be charged for each amendment/cancellation made on the application ONCE the Acceptance Letter is issued. No guarantee on amendments could be made within 2 working days before the start of the course.

Cancellations/Change of Classes received, after application deadline and prior to the commencement of the course, will require to provide also a written explanation to HAFFA and co-organizer for approval.  HAFFA/co-organizer may in its sole discretion and without assigning any reason for its decision approve or reserve a seat for the enrollee in future course or refuse any such application for cancellation.

After the commencement of the course, no refund will be given.
