Objective |

This course brings the participant up to
date on recent changes made by the ICAO and the IATA, both detailed on the
current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations -
Upon completion of this course under the
IATA cargo training accreditation programme,
existing license holders are able to acquire updates on recent changes made
by the ICAO and the IATA, both detailed on the current edition of the IATA
Dangerous Goods Regulation. -
Upon completion of the course, the
participants should be able to prepare dangerous goods shipments in
accordance with the requirements of the Dangerous Goods Regulation or to
verify dangerous goods shipment if it has been properly prepared for acceptance
by an operator. -
The students will know the lawful
responsibility of mis-interpretation of Dangerous
Goods and impact of un-identification of DGR after the course. We will
inscribe the students with the most up-to-date trend of the industry and prepare
them to be the fully qualified DGR acceptance personnel of the industry. -
Sharing of latest reported DG incidents
involving shipments of undeclared lithium batteries in Hong Kong, to enable
students exercise extra caution when handling cargo shipments with
similar situation in future. |
