Fee per Applicant  Total: HK$2,850.- (or HK$1,761.- only after VTC subsidy)#

# Qualified student can apply for a subsidy of HK$1,089  (provided by the Vocational Training Council-Transport Logistics Training Board "VTC-TLTB") via HAFFA after the end of the module, provided that the student:

(1) Has passed the final examination (passing mark: 40%);

(2) Has achieved an attendance of 80% or above; and

(3) Is currently employed in transport logistics company.

Please note that the subsidy is subject to the availability of the funding.

The application form for partial reimbursement and details will be sent to student during class.

1 month prior to course commencement.

 

Assessment and Award

1.     The assessment includes a Self-reflection Checklist (5%) on the practice of concepts at work, Individual Assignment/project (35%), one Mid-term Test - 1 hour (10%) and Final Examination - 2 hours (50%).

2.     Students who have successfully passed the test and examination (passing mark: 40%) and achieved an attendance of 70% or above of each module, will receive the following:
(i)  A certificate issued by Institute for Entrepreneurship, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
(ii) A transcript issued by Institute for Entrepreneurship, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Students who have successfully passed the test and examination and achieved an attendance of 80% or above of each module, will receive the following:
(iii) A certificate jointly issued by the CILTHK, HAFFA and LOGSCOUNCIL;

3.    The certificate is widely recognized by senior management in the industry.

4.     HAFFA Committee Member Companies will be given higher priority to any job seeker if he/she has successfully completed the course.

 

Medium of Instruction

Experienced instructors from the industry will conduct the lecture in English supplemented with Cantonese terminologies 

 

Admission Requirement

Candidates have to fulfill the requirements specified in (a) or (b), as well as (c) the language requirements.

(a)   Mature candidates, i.e. candidates who are 25 years old or above, with4 years or above relevant working experience at assistant manager level or above

(b)   Candidates who do not possess the qualifications stated in (a) but successfully obtained RPL qualifications for the logistics industry at QF level 3 or above.

(c)    Language requirements

Level 2 or above in HKDSE English Language; or

E or above in HKCEE English Language (Syllabus B); or

C or above in HKCEE English Language (Syllabus A); or

E or above in HKALE (AS-Level) Use of English.

Those who do not meet the above language requirements will be required to pass an English language proficiency test prior to admission.

Please provide supporting documents (e.g: HKCEE/HKALE certificate and Company letter) when submit application.

Payment should be settled at the time of Programme application. Programme fees are not refundable except for unsuccessful applications or course cancellation.

Ø  Formulate airfreight standard contract terms

Ø  Formulate environmental management policy

Ø  Handle co-loading market transactions with air freight forwarder
