HONG KONG EXAMINATIONS AND ASSESSMENT AUTHORITY (HKEAA)

 

¡P      2007 HKCEE Chinese Language and English Language Standards-referenced Reporting

 

With effect from this year, the new examinations for HKCEE Chinese Language and English Language are implemented. Major changes of the examinations are summarized as below:

 

1.     The new HKCEE English Language Examination has replaced the previous Syllabuses A & B Examinations.

2.     There are 5 papers in the new HKCEE Chinese Language Examination instead of the previous 2 papers examination.

3.     Candidates¡¦ performance is reported using levels with reference to a set of standards.

 

Please note the above changes apply only to the two language subjects ¡V Chinese Language and English Language. For other HKCEE subjects, the existing grading system (A-F) will continue to be used.
